Little girl lost, so far from home
Who would have thought you’d love alone?
Your journey’s path was from your heart
You sought new life, a new love’s start…

But fantasies, now in the past
You found could break like shattered glass
Too many pieces scattered round
And some misplaced, ne’er to be found…

But poetess, and dreamer still
You pick up paper, ink and quill
It just feels right, to share some time
With those of literary mind…

So, maybe some things can’t be lost
And paths are waiting to be crossed
Where friends still share life’s curving road
To help each other ease the load…

And maybe, little girl, you’ll see
That losing sometimes sets us free…

Your words still have a way to touch the heart so strong they bring tears to the eyes and remind me of memories...the way you talk about your friends here and how wonderful it feels to feel their embrace as you share your inner self touched me deeply....I know you are dearly charished by those whose words wrap around you to help make your steps lighter....**big hugs*** take care, loved one....

Especially liked the last few lines!

(big angel hugs) Oh Sunnyone, you have such a loving, golden heart that truly feels for everyone, dearest friend, I absolutely agree too that what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger, for I experienced too many sad days and heartache as a little boy, but they have only helped build my character and understand who I am and that I am capable, I am pure of heart and I can succeed, and now I've never felt happier and sexier in my life! (angel comfort hugs) God Bless You, sweet friend, my heart sends angel comfort hugs out to this someone in need and I offer holiday happiness hugs too just for good measure, yay, this is absolutely beautiful and touching, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sunnyone, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Thank you everyone, for your wonderful replies! It's so nice to get your feelings on my work, and always appreciated, you know?  When I first started writing this, it sounded a bit solemn, but the point I was trying to make was in the end, and I see now that it worked just fine...thank you, my friends...'S'

So sadly true, but then, who would we be without our losses? They're just as valuable as our gains--and sometimes, even more so.
