~*~*~*~*~*~

I am here when you are ready.
I have no fear that you will fail me.
You know my promise, love eternal,
Was born when stars first saw the sea.

When the moon that shines so bright
Sings nocturne in the night,
I am there, your dancing partner,
I am there, your heart’s insight.

When the sun beats down at midday
And you’re driving down your road,
Remember love has always been there
And will be there to unfold;

To show us how Creation made us
To show us why that we were made,
It is love which holds our answers
And love that holds our fate.

I’ll be here when you find me
I will never go too far;
I will hope for time’s enlighten
And your mind to meet your heart.

iliana-Jo

I see a much larger message here, greater than shows on the surface...

"To show us how Creation made us
To show us why that we were made,
It is love which holds our answers
And love that holds our fate."

Love embraced in the local sense...

"I am here when you are ready."

Is the way to spread it cosmopolitan.
In my opinion it is the only way to solve the problems of humanity.

"It is love which holds our answers"

You probably wrote this relating to the personal, but there is something much larger here...
if the reader looks at the poem from all angles...

enjoyed

Ice, I really enjoyed your comment, thanks.  I did write this about a man and a woman, it is true.  But, I actually was hoping to reflect something larger; well actually, that was the feel my muse was inspiring when this was flowing.  I'm glad you pointed it out.   ....jo

Love the message of:

"no matter what, I am here and when you realize that I am here when no one else is, that I love you unconditionally, I will be waiting with open arms"

It's a wonderful thought.

Jo - A delightful read and one I can relate to.

"I will hope for time’s enlighten
And your mind to meet your heart."

Sometimes it seems that the mind gets lost in the wilderness for years and years before meeting up with the heart but - hey, that's no reason to stop hoping.  Right?

Jo,

  May I just ditto Linda, as she said it so much better than I could?

  This grabbed my fancy with the first verse, compelling me to read and contemplate throughout.  A spiritual poem about love, indeed!

   "I am here when you are ready.
   I have no fear that you will fail me.
   You know my promise, love eternal,
   Was born when stars first saw the sea"

So beautifully written, iliana!

(wipes tear of warmth) Oh Jo, this is by far one of my favorites of yours yet, dearest friend, this made me cry because you're speaking of no ordinary love here, you're speaking of a more selfless, altruistic love that ever too many take for granted, and your golden heart is gleaming of here, yay! (angel friendship hugs) Yay, I'm keeping this, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jo, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

I’ll be here when you find me
I will never go too far;

There is nothing more beautiful than the promise of love everlasting... one that's willing to wait. *S*
