Sands of Time I entered life with cry and lurch And there I started on my search It took a while for me to see And even know that here I be For when I started on my path My mind was placed within a bath The residue of past was gone And I was new and freshly born The spirit of the drive was there Deep inside my soul somewhere And I was pushed and prod to find To add a little more this rind To circle in this phantoms mode To touch upon a higher code To pierce once more the needles eye To add a little more of I So here I be this egos grime To once more sift the sands of time |
