Her hands of hope, She denies cause she doesn't believe it, Looking to ever hold in her heart, Looking for the peace that makes her world move, Laying down on her empty bed, Tears pour from her eyes, Cause no one is next to her, Through the darkest days of her life, She has troubles going to sleep, Often questioning why this is happening to her all this time, Legs shaking but barely keeping her standing up, Then she falls to her knees, Holding on the the blankets on the bed, She loses every bit of feeling, Thoughts of giving up, Thoughts of why?, I trace my steps around the world, Looking for the love of my life, Questioning myself if she is really out there or not, Deaths seems to keep pulling me closer, The only thing that stands next to me is my shadow, Why is it always there next to me? I take the long walk to define my life, The road of many twists and turns, I slowly walk down it, The sky blood red, It seems to keep falling, As every step I take I think of turning around and going back, Then the woman of tears, pain, and loneliness stands there, I think why is she here? Why does she walk the same road as me? Is that her? The One for me? She looks down and places her hand over her eyes, I walk up to her and say "Why are you crying?", She says,"I can't find the answers to my life! I can't find him!!", I take her hand away from her eyes, Places my hand in hers, She looks up at me, She says,"Why are you holding my hand?", "Your the one I want, you always were the one for me, I was just to shy to tell you.", "Now that I see you walk the same path as I do, now I know your the one", She places her hand on my chest, And I feel my heart beating like never before, "I love you too I was just too shy to say it to you", she says, "Lets walk down this road of mystery together with our hands, hearts, souls, lifes as one". I said, When we started to walk the sky turned blue, The sky goes back up, The road starts to become more visible, Later down the road that we have come to reach, I drop to one knee, I reach into my pocket and pulls out a diamond ring, I say to her, "Will you marry me my love, my everything, let our world become one with each of us, let us see it through together" She places her hand over her mouth and her eyes close but open and her tears come out and with a smile so perfect, "She places her hand out and says yes over a million times", "I will marry you for now, and forever, I will be there always", I take her in to my arms, Places my arm around her, She leans her head on my chest, And says "I love you forever", "I love you too with all my heart and soul and always forever and nothing will come between us no matter big or small" |
