He's one of four kids,
The oldest of mine,
of course with a special place
in this heart of mine.

At the age of five
They told me the news
he has Aspergers Syndrom
I looked at them confussed
its a form of Autism
thats what they said
it got lost in my head.

Now six years later
I've learned alot
That everything is the mater
a problem hes not.

The issue is now
keeping him straight
the only thing is how
I'll do it at any rate.

For he's my oldest son,
the oldest of four,
and its been alot of fun
I cant wait there is so much more

To learn see and do
with this special kid
I havent a clue
whats next to do or what we did
to get this great kid.
For Cody

You are indeed lucky.  I believe we have a very special poet here in Passions, who has been diagnosed as has your son.  He is a true joy to all of us who have come to know him over the years.  If Cody does as well as our poet, just know that the young man in your life will SHINE in his future!

You are indeed blessed ... and your children, all four of them, are fortunate that God chose you for their mother~

Thank you all I know that in the future they will all four be my becons in the foggy night. They already fill my life with so much joy its almost to much. The hard part is helping cody learn to cope and his syblings too. But, they will all be better and happier adults for what they are learning now.
