From the moment of our birth
The ties of love will bind
The needs of a mother's children
Are never far from her mind

She'll comfort you in sickness
And will remain right by your side
She's a selfless individual
Whose heart is filled with pride

She'll be there to lend a hand
If ever you were to fall
A mother's love will give you strength
With her love you will stand tall

A great source of inspiration
She will always be your guide
She is someone you can count on
In her, you can easily confide

Her children come before all others
All their hopes and dreams she'll share
Her heart is always with her cildren
For them, she always will be there

Her love is strong and unyielding
At any hour of any day
She is the nucleus of the family
Within our hearts she'll always stay

Our lives are but a chapter
And she'll guide us through each stage
Though the years may take her youth
Her love will improve with age

There's so much to be said for mothers
And I'm sure you would agree
I owe a lot to my dear mother
For without her there would not be me
