Tender moments recalled when I could see the love in your eyes shining down on me moon reflections of treasured daze when we owned our own little corner in the universe journeying through galaxies riding on tails of stardust leaving trails of what was us lingering behind in space and time until we stopped to take rest in the Milky Way's delight shimmering, shining through darkest of nights where time stood still and our hearts played like innocent children full of laughter, so carefree... spellbound somewhere in time once upon a dream. {I originally intended this to be a choka, but words kept coming to me and it ended up longer than I thought it would. If anyone wants to add, please feel free though. } Give me your heart Make it real Or else forget about it...Santana [This message has been edited by Gentle Spirit (07-16-2005 05:19 PM).] |

once upon a dream where children laugh amid bluebird's song and tender nights are blessedly long where buzzing bees drone lazily 'neath apple trees and we would hazily dream still, dream well... within the treasured daze... |

To this dream we may return, And turn the daze to clear- Clicking together heals Children again holding hands, Skipping over yellow bricks Gentle spirit-me And that Sunshine girl From Kansas...(seems like Karilea might be The grown-up Dorothy?) Grab Toto- Lets go Find Oz... For he is the one Who really knows, The difference between What's real And what's a dream. |

It's been a while since I've been on the blue pages, but your poetry is still as lovely and sweet as I remember. miscellanea |

"until we stopped to take rest in the Milky Way's delight shimmering, shining through darkest of nights" ~ Upon reading this poem, I looked to the night sky and thought... I like it when words cause me into action. Enjoyed. |

How can any poem of yours have only eleven replies? Tis a puzzlement! ...and, I do know what you mean about the Choka thing.....check the first poem I ever posted in PiP: Japan Must it be ever Flowers, drops within dewdrops, White petals falling? What then of concrete causeways, Rays of steel that rise Unstinting to the new sky? Does the steel not sing? Will hard bright wings not bear us To the country of the gods? Technically still in form, but...... ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |
