I pick the flowers One at a time, Arranging them in my hand As if were the vase, And hold them at arms length On the table I imagine As if in the vase. My garden hold but a few Mostly yellow and red hue, But in have snuck some pink, But I have traded some for other things Plants that tomato and peppers brings, To make a summer salad soon. Yet what of the follows picked To last three days or so Then they’ll brown And away they’ll go, But lasting longer than the pepper Or the tomato. Gloom Inspired by of poet in a potter's field |

smiling... I love to watch a garden grow, and thank you, Prof, for picking this up. I apologize for my tardiness, but sometimes the poet is picked "on"! (meaning my realtime life got ahead of my Piptime) But thanks so much, for the lovely blossoms, and special thanks to a special friend, for pointing out the path through.... Hugs and love, and hey? thyme suits ya |
