Loves Jackknife I jackknifed from a sky above Straight into a sea of love And held my breath in hearts believe To take the hand of loves receive She led me to a field of green A weeping willow graced the scene And there I stood with flowing fern To hear the things of loves concern She whispered in a singsong voice The in and out of lovers choice The matrix of the balance bar And pointed out the northern star It’s when the harps did cease in plight And passage out the end of night The evening lost the shades of store And I was led back home once more To face this life the thorn of morn And breakfast of the true of dawn |
