I Could Only Do My Best

I had felt your absence
Yet nothing I can do
This void I need to fill
That's been left by you

I have friends who care
Like you used to do
I am in their thoughts
It is helping me though

I could only do my best
Keep a positive view
If thoughts still count
I had tried to reach you

I look on the bright side
It seems all I can do
Still I remember fondly
Times I shared with you

That is an absolutely wonderful way to show your love and lose. You tell it the way a lot of us feel but cant express in words I look forward to reading more of your work.
