dancing bear on a leash
years have run a marathon raising money for charitable trust limited only by our mind's eye, as dna still dreams in healthy rations full-time occupations, sharing stages of mannerisms…like imperial grunts
oh those waggish high spirits busting elements with leavened praise for the long haul of obligations savoring, hard-bitten mixed feelings and lines from turning the page
faithful readers pour across transoms grasping lighted momentary stays, close reads with willful creatures embrace a hard days work, at the center of gravity sometimes tart do diligence hard to come by these days…
i have sung indignation for love and yes, lost a degree of belief but the bedrock of faith resides profoundly human within the keen grasp of history
of what we devise for ourselves moves reflections that ascertain in salt marshes of bankruptcy where tenderness bears our names centralized command shaping policy
invigorated music, ruffles those harried nights to produce some combination of rhythms governed by snippets of punishment attentive and seasoned, laying ode to old fashioned tonic advice
it is where we place our submissions death is confirmed in attentive flesh unveiling a way in which nature looks on at us, with flu pandemics and killer threats
a confidential file locked tightly away on the uncracked asphalt of life’s public school where battles are fought with a mother’s last words and moral complexity becomes our consuming rule
and dancing bear on a leash
