Look Ma, No Mind 18 August 2001 There's a red stringy thing hanging from the top shelf of the bookcase behind me. Confidentially, I think it's my mind. You, of course, may call it a bookmark ... but I know it's my mind. It must be. I lost it in this very room ...and it isn't anywhere else ... Can you see it anywhere? I don't know how to insert it again but perhaps it doesn't matter. Who would know? There's a kinda numbness where it was that is better than the consuming pain. I sorta prefer not having it. I think I'll leave it where it is ... hanging like a shrivelled string from the topmost bookshelf... - Owl |

A curious and intriguing write! As the saying goes, "We can never go back." ~ Perhaps it is best that you do not revisit that page. In fact, I suggest that you tuck the bookmark in a book that is worth revisiting.   EA |
