We Had Not Said Goodbye

I am stuck in this groove
Having tried to move on
As each day passes by
Inner strength I call upon

I will wear my happy face
Then no one shall know
Smiles will hide the pain
Whilst I attempt to let go

I shall move on eventually
It might take me a while
More tears will be shed
My heart still feels fragile

I came through yesterday
Wiped a few more tears
I take one step at a time
Until this hurt disappears

I know each day will arrive
Thoughts I will not deny
I have kept it in my mind
We had not said goodbye

Life sure sucks sometimes doesn't it? The beauty about this sort of thing is you take from it and never repeat it right? Happy Holidays m'friend, and a great time to meet and greet new people.
