Chapters Were Written

A heart without closure
Is this the end for me
Writing final chapters
The last thing you see

Once we shared pages
Conveyed tenderness
Chapters were written
We had togetherness

Was this your goodbye
Of something we had
I am left holding a pen
With heart feeling sad

A story that first began
In words forever friend
Do we close chapters
In silence without end

You being inconclusive
I cannot write the end
As my heart lays bare
Its your input I depend

In fire we transcend in motion in emotion

We burn as failure sreaking causes that

Success

Never sought

Inhuman we are human as we burn desire to desire

And have the grace

To fail

Take care

The silence can be deafening....I understand.  It is so hard to open up the heart to new love when there is no closure.  Good write, Hope.  *hugs*....jo
