So it’s for this To kiss this rock I risk my life Better I had stayed in bed With any pretty maid Than come alone to know this stone Is all there was behind those lines And men at home Will want to cheer with glee When I return from this victory And it’s just as well I tell a tale Since what is fact is not magical For who would go beyond their door For nothing more than where they are |
