Parisian Delights (Wee Elf Vol. XIX)

Wee Elf went on his vacation,
A time for fun and relaxation,
Santa let him use his sleigh,
And so it was, up, up, away,
Off to Paris, that's in France,
Perhaps to find Wee Elf romance,
First Wee bought a fresh wee flower,
Then Wee climbed the Eiffel Tower,
To gaze upon Parisian view,
And to check out women too,
When Wee Elf got to the top,
Wee elfin heart did up and stop,
For by the rail, a vision rare,
A gorgeous sprite with golden hair,
How do you do, my name is Wee,
Wee was as happy as Wee can be,
She smiled at Wee, and Wee smiled too,
Wee knew just what Wee would do,
Wee asked this goddess o' so small,
Would you mind, a bit at all,
If I took you out to dinner,
Feeling like a lottery winner,
The angel smiled and answered Oui,
Wee Elf said yes, that is my name,
Not knowing Wee and Oui the same,
Would you please go out with me?
Came her reply, a big OUI, OUI!
Wee Elf shook his wee elf head,
Yes, I'm Wee, that's what I said,
But would you go out on a date?
OUI, OUI, OUI, the sprite did state,
Wee Elf shook wee head and turned,
And walked away, Wee Elf felt spurned,
Making fun is what Wee thought,
Of poor Wee Elf, Wee felt distraught,
Almost to the elevator,
Thinking he would never date her,
Feeling sorry for wee self,
Then Wee heard, you silly elf,
Oui is French for yes you see,
When I said Oui, I did agree,
To have a date with elf named Wee,
Wee Elf smiled with pure elation,
And enjoyed, great Wee vacation.

Mysteria, if you perchance read this, all nineteen of the Wee Elf poems are in the forums somewhere.
I print out a copy of them each year and hand them out at work; if you would like a copy, just email me at exprosecutor@netscape.net and let me know where to mail you a copy. Glad you enjoyed.
