![]() A Thanksgiving Feast ~ Linda L. Dowd ~ Cranberries, stuffing, pumpkin pie. Turkey, trimmings, piled real high. Mashed potatoes, gravy too. Green beans almondine, and turnip stew. Fresh from the oven, warm dinner rolls. Dripping butter~ food for souls. White meat, dark meat, drumstick, wing. I like to sample everything! Olives, pickles~ tart and sweet. Spiced ringed apples are good to eat! Plump black olives, and pickles galore. Devilled eggs and so much more! Family gathering, to rejoice and pray. Sharing feast on Thanksgiving Day! ![]() |

Hehehe....if I weren't already so stuffed, this would have left me famished! That dinner you just set pretty much described most of our Thanksgiving meals. This year, I took the easy way out -- bought a cajun fried turkey breast (pre-cooked) and just warmed it up for 80 minuites and it was tasty!!!....no drumsticks, gizzards, gibblets, etc....but the cleanup is so much easier! Thanks for thinking of us, Linda! You all have a similar celebration don't you? Tell us about it if you do, please....educate us a little. KBHBLY.........lily jo |

Martie ~ I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving Day ~ and meal! Up here in Canada, I was a tad bit envious of your feasting festivities. Ours was in October. Mind you, I ate enough at that time to have lasted me up until now! lol Loving hugs, Linda |

![]() (does happy cranberry conga) Yay! I must warn you of one teensy-weensy thing before I sit down to the feast, and that is I am a vegetarian so I will have some limited servings! (giggles) But there's still plenty of sweet potato bisque and cranberry delight and curried tofu to go around, yay, this is soooooooo wonderful, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Linda, thank you for sharing! ![]() May love and light always shine upon you! Noah, to be perfectly honest, although I am not a vegetarian, I actually do prefer tofu over turkey! I cube the Extra Firm tofu and lightly brown it in some sesame seed oil, Tamari sauce, a bit of water that cooks down, some Celtic sea salt, fresh-cracked pepper and sesame seeds. Yum! Yum! Loves 'n hugs, Linda |

![]() (giggles) Hey, the way you make tofu is similar to one of my tofu preparation recipes! (smiles) Angelic minds do think alike indeed, yay! ![]() I swear I'm telling the God's truth when I say I love the taste of soy milk much better than regular milk too! (smiles) It just has that light, smooth richness to it, plus it has hints of cinnamon/vanilla which absolutely get my taste buds tingling, yay! ![]() Yay, great to talk holiday treats! Noah, I use soy milk in my coffee instead of cream and sugar! It's delicious and nutritious! ![]() Christmas cheers! Linda |
