The End
In the end of the world,
what is left but a nameless void?
Nothing is what we have become.
And was has been done, can never be undone.

Death and destruction,
and yet we feel no pain,
we see no evil,
We are no longer left to live in vain.

The planets, the stars, the universe.
All are undone to my eyes.
And yet what is the worth of someone who dies?
To live and to die, our sole purpose.

Tiny objects,
we can hardly compare to the vastness,
of the world, the universe.
What is our purpose, why do we live?

Do we live to love?
Love can be decieving,
harsh and cruel.
Why live for this constant duel?

Think now, think hard and long,
why live?
And yet in the end, you can come to only one conclusion.
Do we live to die?

No...
We live to live.

I love these the lines the best. Your poem sets a tone into the bleak yet strives for the heavens in the end.
