A dark cloudy night has me stuck in this void. A storm of sorrow has begun to unleash, reluctantly, upon me. I'm in search of higher ground to feel free, to kneel, to beg, and to stare into the eye. a flash of lightning strikes burning the lies. My body's as vibrant as a widow searching for a reason to live. My head tilted back awaiting this storm to give in. Please accept this sacrifice. Clenching my teeth I declare this to be my last vice. A flood of incomprehensible joy flatters me. But nothing can change my mind, nothing can disturb me this time. Shackled to the storm as a flash appears. This mutation begins to take form, like a diamond to coal. I feel humbled, and ready to fade like the dull thud of thunder. I proclaim this to be my last rite as the electric runs through my solemnly soul. And I feel the freedom of being whole. |

Absolutely superb write. I would choose a piece of it, however that would not do the rest justice. I hope the ending was figurtive, please keep up the good work. Tomorrow comes for those who fear it. |
