Aurora Blue Like a prisoner locked away for crimes of treason, My love for you is bound within the four seasons.. In Autumn, the golden leaves Waltz and prance around our feet. Through our hair, a gentle breeze so Comforting and complete. The pride of plants and trees diminish As the copper, bronze parade comes to a finish In time for Winter, where waves of sodden tears Wash away our qualms and fears. A tinkle of rain cuffs our lips As we stand face to face, arms around each others hips. A beam of sunlight soars through a single rain drop As the Sky’s child-like crying comes to a stop. Hummocks of jade grass begin to rise As Spring learns to compromise Between lavender flowers and crimson-petal plants. An aroma of passion, open arms to romance As you stride past me with a sweet-smelling scent. Not long after this spell is spent, The warmth of Summer comes in a rush As the sound of prevailing winds silence to a hush. Laying on the midnight sand with you beside me There is nowhere else I would rather be. Upon waking up, the Sun’s spirit will take us away Into the welcoming sunrise, far away... I am yours, and you are mine. Both of our hearts will never unwind... |
