Our Nature Words purse my lips in lemon Souring in brittle chips I cannot say Un-angry and un-avenged the sun still shines How could it be that I impart anything significant? We share this light Often flickering and low it’s lumen Subtle shadows and rising halos You gave to me the appreciation of the earth Presented the unique view of happy rain And holy tears, that sing upon the fields What words? The immediate destiny of seasons O’r the flight of hawk and dove Pausing for inquisitive eyes like mine Your eyes…three colors just as mine If not for slight You taught me peace and reckoning The truth of animal and artifact The deepest pools that shine within a man Are often hidden from the eyes It is a nature only hearts can see In the honor of my Father Copyright Kkh 10/24/05 |

Kathy, You have written something most beautiful for a man you have deeply loved... I know of the goodbyes we say to those we love, and I pray for your safety...and for God to release your Dad...in comfort and peace. God Speed Kiddo! |

For everyone's info...I think Kathy would not mind me saying... Her father has been very ill and passed away last night around midnight. Kathy is presently on the road, preparing for a funeral....May the Lord keep her safe in her travels and give her the strength she shall need. Barry |

so lovely, TD... I wish I could have been able to share this side of me with my Father before he died...but it never came out until after. I just read Barry's response..I am so sorry for your loss Kathleen and will be thinking of you hoping you are safe during your travel. M |

To see a parent with real eyes, and love them for what you see...it's a two-way gift, yours to them, theirs to you, though theirs may have been given long ago when they taught you to have vision as well as sight. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |
