I Lay Down

I must lie down within my dreams
I cannot stay this world air born
I cannot fly the real of means
The horse is worn and I am torn

The road too long the song to strong
The bells sing out in wrong rebel
I sail within the why too long
The waves have gone too high in swell

My fantasy has worn to done
I’ve rubbed it raw the inner core
Eternity cannot be won
I’ve given up the evermore

My senses stand a doldrums still
The wind has gone another place
And I, no fantasy of will
My sails are shred to strands of lace

Still time does move a steady source
And doldrums cannot still its course

wake up some mornings thinking these very same thoughts....knowing, full well knowing, time is now, at a premium...and so, we make the best of every second.

Hugs to ya, dear one

Ah, but what a journey it has been...  and I am pleased to have vicariously shared some of it with you, Master Wordsmith.

Never give up on the 'evermore' Sy!
Want to sit and have a cup of tea with me..
we can chat about it.

Now - while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again...and again...
