Once upon a midnight dreary,
While I pondered weak and weary
Over many a page I’d written before,
And as my mind was slipping
I was brought alert by a dripping,
T’is the faucet, I thought, nothing more,
So I rose to tighten the grip
To cease the steady drip,
But none was there but the dry
No drip evident to the eye.

Alright so it was November
Poe returns for me to remember,
This eeriness had happened before;
Perhaps it’s just memories sound
And the dripping won’t be found,
T’is imaginary and nothing more.
But I had dreams yet to keep
So I went then asleep
Closing a red and tired eye
All was safe and all was dry.

Prof,
Well now, I found your write a delight. It has all the details down to perfection. Thanks for this piece as I enjoyed it.Hope you're still dry when you wake.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
