What I See

I see the goal that rides my sea
The misty soul that tides in me
The ambergris that makes perfume
Desires of my roars consume

I see the spirit of the mist
The words of sand that fill the list
The tumble of the grey of grime
The sounding of the bells of time

And in my hand the sum of done
The sum of none plus none that’s one
The essence of the phantom key
The true of true of what I be

And in the tumble of the weed
The timeless time that fills the seed
I take the flame, twixt finger tips
And blow eternity, my lips

To bright the candle of a core
To light the dark of me once more

A timely and timeless homage to time, with perfect timing, might I add...  Another Seymour classic...

I sure like your style, and the word play. Very individualistic, and unmistakable.

Great stuff.

Good afternoon, Sir Tumbleweed!

Only you, Dear Sonneteer, could blow eternity from your lips and finger tips!
