Patiently, and Then Some Each stroke of brush, each tender touch brings me 'round to thoughts of you. Each rush of air, the coldness holds breathless, mysts rise from this view. Inside me, once again this morn, I ride the mood of changing pace. Patiently I wait the kiss, the words expressed, to me embrace. I wonder where your self is held, in whose care your guard is worn. I feel the shield, and watch the door to swing one way, and still I mourn the emptiness of you not there, the sense of want with no regret. I steal the moments from your eyes so framed, I have you near and yet the not so near, when you are gone. These rooms without, speak volumes of. But only whispers can I hear the fragileness of sometimes love. I walk the halls in "loves me not" and bury deep the heart of me. The evening hours still the void until the dreams behind eyes see. The space between the lines of time sell me out, in written word. Imagine " if's" would sacrifice for you and only you, preferred. I'll light this candle just for you so in the darkness you will find a way to reach me, be not far for you are always on my mind. The art of you paints bright my days as thoughts grow lifetimes in their wait. Each stroke of hand leaves "ever for's" and made up words upon my slate. For lest my eyes deceive me then and heartbeat racing childs these views, overtaken feelings come when ever challenged by your hues. Beyond the days, whence come the nights your tools of trade enhance the deep. The longing of, mosaic's fit, for me... is love's design for sleep. M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

M, This is very different for you. I can imagine Elizabeth reading this with a sigh waiting for Robert to appear. If it were published then, you’d have half of London at your door. I’ve read this again. It’s really an astonishing work of art. With your permission I’d like to include it in my collection of poems by others. If the answer is yes, what name should I give the author? John |

John...thank you very much, you have my permission...and can use the name Maureen Scully/nakdthoughts I write in many ways at different times of my life in the last 7 years. On here alone, the last 5 years, I write as Lady Ollyne, Alicethruglass and nakdthoughts...and once upon a time as MMoonchild all of which are in the archives...and have different styles depending on my many moods Thanks again Bernie, glad you enjoyed my words this morning. Absolutely beautiful, Maureen. Makes me miss the times I wrote this way... It feels good to be enriched with a strong infusion of quality poetry again -- thank you. -MVS You CAN make a difference, but first you should learn how: http://educate-yourself.org/intro.shtml |

again I need to thank those who continue to read my many moods, and days of writing... I don't always recognize myself as the writer of many of these poems...and am touched by the responses. M |
