Tracing these steps
Like leaves fallen
Not knowing where they land
Subconcious babbling leads us

To a place we want to go
Patience now an enemy
Uttering an unearthly reality
Time ticks by unmercifully

My armor is thick
Always an option
For you will not know
The depth of my caring

It's that time of year
Reveling for the unfortunate
Arent we all?
Despite unwanted flaws

The mask you wear
Covers most of the fear
Invisivble you may be
not to me

I hold you in dreams
Always wondering
Will tomorrow
Be yesterday?

Predicting the future
No one can
March on
Stop and see

Your protege is waiting
So is the prissy one
Help to mold them
My future is your's to see

This is a very interesting write, contradictory in some ways as you speak of the person dwelling in the past but molding the future. Excellent choice of meatphor.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
