I've lost you
Then gained you

Can I lose you again
Without pain?
Can you come here to remain
Not to pack up your hellos
And kisses..
And leave me with a non-existent hug
…Suspended..
Forever
Like an unfinished song
Never fully sang to the rhythm that it should have
On the brink of the thought
That you'd come…
That you'd be here…
But you are actually there..
Not here..

Did I really lose you?
Or did you lose me?
And left me pondering for eternity
What happened…
Why did your steps led you away
And not brought you here to stay?
Why should I pack up my emotions
Along with all your unfinished sentences
And leave them there…
Suspended
Waiting for a life-time sentence

I lost you…
But losing you is not the end
Perhaps just the beginning
Of an era of loss
& perhaps…gain
You were never here to remain
Not more than a flashing memory
Or a packed up moments
That soon would leave
Because they were never unpacked…truly

So…
Let me pack up my emotions
Along with the rest of me
The rest of all the remaining hugs..never really given
The kisses never really put in place
And thoughts never really uttered..
Ah…
But ...They were never unpacked!

Well I must say that you sure used the moment well - I enjoyed it a great deal. Nicely done.
