You were wrong

I thought I knew you,
But I guess I was wrong.
I thought I was your best friend,
But I guess I didn't mean anything.
I thought I was your only love,
But I guess I was the second.

Now I've wasted all this time,
hanging out with you.
Fighting all the time,
always being together and doing stuff.
I was always there for you,
You just made sure that I was alone.
I wasn't aloud to talk to anyone else,
without fighting about it with you.

Now I am independent,
I have a life with my friends.
And most important you're not in it.
You the one that's alone,
hiding because you knew you were wrong.
While you were trying to contol everyone,
I was working on controlling you.
So now you got what you wanted,
to love yourself and no one else.

well for the truth , it is not a good thing to try and do ...its asking for trouble
be yourself and never let someone put out your natural fire ... move on and hold your head up babe ....notice the beauty in yourself
