I wish that it were more purposeful, this tendency of mine to forget, and that the many trespasses fallen by the waysides, were left there in earnest instead of just blanked out- the backwards path too jagged, too painful to step over. If only signposts had been fabricated to point the way and memorials carved to chronicle lessons learned, and I could remember distinctly passing on to the next one. In the extent of my forgetfulness tender delicacies of mind and soul, cross-filed against yesterday’s torments, are equally as dim. These gray haired days pass cursorily by, but dread nags silently that there is much lost inside this lacking. |

"These gray haired days pass cursorily by, but dread nags silently that there is much lost inside this lacking." I know this feeling, JB! |

I think sometimes we need the buffer zone that forgetfulness provides... Now if only we could avoid the consequences! *S* Beautiful work, my friend! |

Like dreams flashing in a brief show at dawn I forget the fantasies I thought were real and leave room for more |
