In The Passing Of A Shadow
~*Marge Tindal*~

In the quiet of night, in archived bloom
I could swear I saw your shadow passing
Close enough to let me feel
the very poetic breath of you, still real~

In a tender moment of contemplate
I just wanted you to know
That if ever you should have a need
just call, … ask … and it is so~

I may not know the all of things
but one thing I know is true
when you hold a friendship memory
it so very often stays true~

With that in mind, I’ll simply say
next time I feel your shadow passing
I’ll reach out to grasp your hand …
holding on to the you I knew
before you went away~

~Yes, it’s for her … and yes, I do miss her poetic self~

I, too, miss seeing Dixie in the forums. And Doreen. And Dreamevil, and many others.

It's a horrible waste when people let anger and spite shape their future, forgetting that threats and ultimatums can't ever be unmade. Unfortunately, bridges that are so quickly consumed in fires of bitterness can often take years to rebuild. And construction can't even begin until the flames give way to ashes.

ah I miss her too.....I miss me...I and I miss you all.....its rough these days to find time and internet access combined, and I missed the bridge burning, but I do know threads as this are powerful and might bridge the gap if sent with prayer

I knew Dixie's shadows were passing, but I never thought that she'd disappear along with them!

This was in no way intended to be a controversial penning and posting~
God sent me a message to be written from my heart ... I penned it and shared it, not only with the friends here, but most of all with Dixie who is being shown a new direction for her life to take -

Friendships do not fall away because circumstances change, no matter what the end results are~
