October Yesteryear By Larry Chadwick Today I was young enough for you to be two again. And we were playing peek-a-boo with the moon one more time. You giggled at the ability of the moon to hide. Surprised each time it appeared from behind the hills. Only you could make me feel grown up before I was. Or at least fix it so it did not matter. And now that I am it seems of little consequence. But since I am old enough it does not matter. October 18, 2005 If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

You have such an honest and open soul. Hugs to you for this. Chris Poetry is an echo, asking a shadow to dance. |

sweetwater, Thank you! I think I used that line in a prose piece recently. Is it possible to plagerize yourself? Guess I liked it. LOL Nancy Lee, I was riding home night before last on my motorcycle after working late and drove through a huge cloud burst into stars and full moon. It was an awesome ride in my mind as well. And thanks for the hug. Sy, Kind of fun, eh? And thanks. Martie, Thank you. It sure is comforting that you know. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Chris, Well shucks, not sure what to say, 'cept scorpio, Cool! And you didn't even need the motorcycle ride. And thanks. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
