Waiting the small bird sat on a fragil branch the wind tickled the tips of her feathers beckeoning her to flight Waiting the sun watched keeping vigil over the earth while bowing to the moons arrival Waiting for the hands on the clock to signal the time to quit to take back the minutes that were not meant to be sold Waiting for the door to open listening for the footsteps of commitment a balance that sometimes wavers but never fails Waiting for the moment of kiss the renewed passion of what once was and will forever be remembered Waiting for the waiting to be over and discovering the next destination... |
