She was a sybarite, immured in darkness. He went to provide her with solace. Normally she would fraternize with such a man. Though when he came near, she heard him. Clunk, Clunk, scudder, scudder, Clank, Clank Her heart plummetted downwards, toward her fears. She feared the imprecation that was coming near, and yet she stood with dignity and continued to display the utmost probity. With a shrill "boo" from behind, she released a loud opine, "WHAT THE..." He grabbed at her waste, tickling her so. His tender touch a gentle relief, She looked into the tickle monsters eyes and began her remonstrance |

From nothing to flood stage... This is another really decent write. I'm glad you shared it. And thanks for the duet last night... it was fun to do one again. When all is said All is done Still I live And carry on- Quiet Riot |

Dang Kellie, Now I have to get out my dictionary. Interesting write. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Eingo- Indeed, the floodwaters are rising in my little head.... my goodness, I wish they would make it so I could post more than 3 a day... It may be a week or so before I get all these posted lol! Larry- Deja vu?? Didn't you say this a few months ago... Sorry I used my vocabulary words of the week to write this poem, I'm trying to build up a vicious vocabulary! Thank You both for the comments! |
