My Tale of Prime I’ve sailed my ship of primal prime That raging roar of primal time And ask forgiveness of your heart The circumvent and time apart For now I suffer its dismay The loss of time along the way The closeness that I could have had That stays within my heart so sad I’ve found true treasure lies within My wife, my children, not the din And now reach out to touch once more The soul of those that stay my core I cannot hold or kiss enough To make up time my blind mans bluff To make them understand lost need The treasure of God given seed Each kiss and touch keeps me alive The loss of which I’d not survive |

Ah, Seymour. Time waits for no man as they say. Nor woman. All we can do is love more for time lost. Excellent write. Sunny Monday Hugs, Chris Poetry is an echo, asking a shadow to dance. |

There are times when our clocks seem to move too swiftly...I know...and I do understand, more than you might know...Rest well knowing that you have done well... |

Sy "I’ve found true treasure lies within My wife, my children, not the din And now reach out to touch once more The soul of those that stay my core I cannot hold or kiss enough To make up time my blind mans bluff To make them understand lost need The treasure of God given seed" Such pondering makes me ponder also...thank you for that! |

And now reach out to touch once more The soul of those that stay my core ~*~ You know, Sy... this brings back a winsome thought, of my beloved grandmother, who never rocked herself in a rocking chair but just rocked herself until she could not any longer... Oh, you would have enjoyed her chutzpah... but she always did say... quote: I always knew what she meant. So do you. |
