It’s enough
I am tired
How many songs
Can one heart sing
To one poor girl

How unimpressed
You must be
Old silver moon

You have seen
Men just like me
Wax and wane
In years before

While she in truth
Was equally nondescript
Slightly noticed
In the world

Our flowers wither
On their slender stems
Again the leaves
Begin to fall

Yet grant us this
Cynic stone
As we go as well

We did
At least
Give that faith
In your special light
Its proper due

Is "Cheese Ball" you dog's name or a wolf's that sings to the moon all the time?
