I have been obese Since the 6th grade Everytime I try to lose it I gain it back I have been on doctors diets Weight watchers High fiber diets I just about gave up Now I have joined "Curves" Only one problem I lose the inches But the weight doesn't want to budge I am sick of being fat I want to live the normal life I know this is why I am still single Why won't it just come off It gets depressing sometimes The way people stare The way people just say mean things And don't even care I know I am obese But one thing I ask Is that you stop Reminding me Poetry is beauty in words. |

Julie, you are a beautiful young woman... talented, witty, and very loving. It hurts me to see you put yourself down like this. Smile...yours is beautiful!!! Hugs & Luv, Nancy ~Autumn, the year's last, loveliest smile.~ |

A number of years back I developed a philosophy about other people, my friend, and that is that if they don't like me the way I am, then tough dog-pucky, because I'm gonna be me, no matter what they think, and I'm a pretty awesome person in my own right. People are going to talk about you and laugh about you (you meaning anyone, not you personally)no matter how heavy, light, pretty or not so great in any way, you may be. They are snide, mean, self-centered folk, the same ones that think "they" have all the rights and no-one else has any. So all I can say . . . is be you, no matter who you may be. And if you are the person Enchantress say's you are . . . you will get yours sooner or later - and so will those "other folk". As long as you worry about what "they think", you cannot be you . . . and You is what you're all about and only You can show the world who you really are . . . by being you, no matter what physical attributes you may have. jwesley |

Just try again and again to get the weight off ignoring the negative influences. Think positive and it will happen. That's what I do to keep slim, long walks and weights..long walks and weights..and a good diet |
