Stepping gingerly over strewn rocks and debris,
she rests for the briefest moment,
casts a longing look upon the endless sea.
Eternity.

Salty air tingles flared nostrils,
whips her mane like a fancy dancer,
a delicate prancer for all to see.
Eternity.

Waves of history glisten in a golden memory,
back to a time when she ran free,
without restraints, constraints of humanity.
Eternity.

Run free and swiftly, alongside your chosen sea.
Kick up the sands of time, then leave them behind.
Your graceful freedom’s stride is a magnificent sight to see.
Eternity.

But she doesn't look that old, right?
Another excellent write.

A most enjoyable read even though I would rather not think about "eternity" just at the moment.  One lifetime is all I can handle, I think.
