When you sweep the corners it may be for a choice of words yet the subject is not there but you have heard listened to some ghastly news or was horrific, unpleasant... must it be bad to be worthy acceptable to the hand that writes? When you look at an empty canvas wait for the material to speak up govern your thoughts but if you let yourself go just allow the hand to do its own brush stroke must it be a worthy stroke to produce a work of art? The answer lies in the hand that paints it issues from the pen that writes still the mind can move objects but it interferes with that spontaneous touch as you wait for words to come or lie prostrate to paint a subject [This message has been edited by ecrivan (10-10-2005 01:55 AM).] |

There has been many a time that my mind cannot find the words to express my thoughts and feelings. Those are the times that I am greatful that my pen and paintbrush each have a mind of their own and I just let them run with it! Good to read your thoughts! ~ or are they the thoughts of your brush and pen? Love & Light, Linda |
