Until We Meet Again

With fingers numb
    and wounded heart
my life moves very slow
    I face the day
meandering through
    the hurt just seems to grow

The pages turned
    The chapter read
All was much to fast
    I knew some day the time would come
and now that time has passed

Where did the moments disappear
    How could I let them go
I understood how years could pass
    But denied what I did know

And now there are sweet memories
    bits and pieces of her life
Her voice I hear in my head
    her love not out of sight

So let the robin sing in praise
    Let winter wind her way
Let the trees wave with
    the breeze
Until we meet again...
