Oh, insipid life, in your comfy chair! Safe, yet wallowing in an endless sigh --- Be gone now! Be banished into the lair Of mediocrity - no one will cry. Summon fire, thunder, and lightning strikes To carve and toil the landscape of the heart — Undaunted plough and rake with steely spikes And clove the parched and weathered crust apart. Thus let the seeds of joy and Light catch hold And sprout a mosaic of rainbow hues; Let this tapestry new life unfold, Dispel the monotone of droning blues. For in the white of spectrum of the Light Every hidden color greets the sight. CG |
