The silence deafens A previously defiled air of ingratitude Yet the paradox of saying so little are the Screams of an indecent lack of latitude Or so you would think. Unforgiving the unforgivable, your eyes accuse Silence your unspoken punishment Daring me to continue my painful departure from trust I refuse Refuse To forgive the audacity of you To not learn from complete deficit Of character and caring This conflict becomes all too wearing You lose Lose. I leave you confused Making a difference for me For the first time in this quagmire I choose |

"I leave you confused Making a difference for me For the first time in this quagmire I choose" Excellent.. a feeling of being back in control of your life or situation. Well done! Hugs~Nancy ~Autumn, the year's last, loveliest smile.~ |

I enjoy your word play, and the spunkiness I sense in this write. I don't know if I've said this yet, but WELCOME to Pips! |

I can relate to this so much..great poem! ~ARh "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take - but by the moments that take our breath away." |
