 Sliding Down A Rainbow ~ Linda L. Dowd ~ +*+*+*+*+*+ I’m sliding down a rainbow, Soft mists caress my face. The view from here is glorious, As I slip through time and space. ~Majestic emerald forests And clear cerulean skies, Endless azure oceans, Snow mountains steep in rise. Sparkling, crystal waters, And flowers of rainbow light, The morning sun's rising, The rise of moon at night Fields of honey clover, Streams winding ‘cross the lands. Blue undulating rivers, White deserts drifting sands. A world lies there before me, Which dazzles my spellbound eyes. From lands and seas to the heavens, ~ Planet Earth is paradise. +*+*+*+*+*+ |

Marvellous Marti ~ I wish Mother Nature would get back on course and send the rain only where it's needed!!! Right now it's the west and may rain put out those raging fires! As far as you wishing you had written this poem, if you had, I know that it would have been better than the one that I just wrote!
