Afternoon In Autumn. |

Lush is the turf, springing beneath feet. Unsettled day, sun bursting from low cloud, wagtails call in flight, on air, gathering in groups. Goldfinches delicately pick their way, dipping flight, tree to tree, tinkling calls, colours nonsuch. Mechanical sounds of tractors mowing, harvesting, freeing scents memorable to the wind, a vital element to the tapestry of the day. Wind blows fresh, every breath infusing vigour, speeding blood flow,invoking the dormant free wild spirit within me. Desire for nothing except desirelessness,hope for nothing except to rise above all hopes, want nothing and you will have everything.avatar Meher Baba. |
