Southern breeze stirs
on a blow by wind
causing old memories to rise;

and then

I see the twinkle, and hear the smile
{still}     you haunt through distant miles

of time, and space
of then, and now;

your presence, your voice...

    I can feel you
            somehow

touching my soul,
my life; once again.

Remind me gently,
Oh southern wind.

live for today,
dream of the future,
and learn eternal truths from the past..

So softly you bring the wind. We have wind too, Santa Ana winds...hot and dry and dangerous because of fire. Still, I love the wind!
