Love’s Trap By Paul Wilson Memories of special times shared dreams of forever fill your mind Unselfishly you gave me your heart A truer love I’ll never find We danced under Luna’s soft glow and made love on blankets of stars From May thru July we shared all I healed your broken heart and scars I took all you had too offer and played my part in this love game Cupid’s arrow pierced your heart my feelings for you not the same A broken heart and shattered dreams memories you’d rather forget You fell for the lines I fed you I almost fell for you I admit I got what I wanted from you and gave nothing back in return When you play loves game remember there are many lesson to learn I set the trap for you my dear hoping you would fall into it I didn’t see the signs from you to my trap you wouldn’t commit The table has been turned on me like a fool I fell in love with you You took what you needed from me leaving my heart broken into ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ Paul [This message has been edited by Paul Wilson (09-29-2005 04:03 PM).] |
