whisper speak of greensleeves
with the lips of your bow
on a lover cello's erogenous

only a lady can play that way
with the velvet in long legged black
and a dancer of pale

pretending to be a curtain's hemline
rising with crescendo suggestion
for the applauding of men

pretending to be just little boys
without wars for their hands to worship
as gunless pride wanting your notice

of the aimless wander of their wondering
