In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2005-07-15 10:37 AM

{"Incase I can read his mind,
he dreams in his own language"}

I wanted to tell you;
      remind you of
blinding light,      angels
sliding,    like fire   until
night        breaks  sea

I wanted to hear you
      reminding me of
distant dreams,   heaven
singing,   with desire  it
seems      aches me

I glanced away:
I couldn’t understand
       summer rain   tapping
silent glass

too much pane
   shattering my demand
      to sea you calm,
and surpassed

   giving me time to think
while the world sails   on,
over harmony,   or how
clocks of stone time,
strike walls of black

          the mind; endless in
  belonging      thoughts
        on the   horizons
  waiting    to  speak
     and be  heard

In your light I learn how to love
In your beauty how to make poems
You dance inside my chest where
no one sees you and that sight becomes this art
