To my one and only Beenie

Emotions and commotion reside inside
Words blurt out
Spurt out
In the blink of an eye.

Regret, remorse
In self loathing I wallow
Praying my pleas for redemption
Do not ring hollow.

Believe me, relieve me
All I say is true
My heart mind and soul
Belong only to you.

I fall to my knees before you.

Margherita,

I strongly agree with your comment. Saying the three words, I forgive you, can be said so easily. Saying those same 3 words, I forgive you, and having it come from the heart, can be difficult to impossible. Some have a little storage place in the back of the mind, where all the wrongs are stored away...slowing simmering and ready to resurface at the "appropriate" time.
