Spinning Thoughts The mind can fill with spinning thoughts when loneliness exists. Can even make the body feel the remnants of once kissed. Can feel the arms that use to press and warm the heart in beat. The mind can fill with spinning thoughts when feeling in defeat. There's nothing left or so it seems, reality dances slow. It's time to hide away once more, the ride to joy, "no go". I've learned to walk the path this way, like death, a loss in kind. Spinning thoughts are rising now to fill this heart and mind. Private is the word I'll keep and whisper softly when to Alice who does mirror me, (though changes face again). It's only words, I know it's true but words can hold the pause. "Time for some deductions" wined though taste can have its flaws. Reasons be whatever now, the pain the knowing why. I hang my head in rambling thoughts touched only by the sighs. Reflecting now, with fire played and me in guilded cage to feel the songs of yesterday now curtained on life's stage. The mind can fill with spinning thoughts when loneliness exists.
