Where, so long ago, I first espied her being, dark oblivion fled before moon’s glow falling from on high, revealing a rose most sweet, radiant in midnight’s fleeing, O’ how her splendor shone, much as did Luna’s orb in autumnal sky, Beauty! Beauty! No more need be said of long ago as time has passed As she lives and breathes as still does the moon in a September firmament, Luna shining down upon earthly realm chasing shadows cast Into dark oblivion, to compete, but fail in radiance, as compared to a rose resplendent. Beauty! Beauty, Aye, no more need be said. |

Lovely write. Much enjoyed. Chris Poetry is an echo, asking a shadow to dance. |
